    Friday - Evening Welcome Social & Dinner

    Location: John and Simone McGuinness' House

    Time: 5:00pm to 9:00pm

    Notes: All are welcome to attend! Casual attire. Street parking available.


    Saturday - Wedding Ceremony and Reception Dinner

    Location: The Inn at Saratoga

    Time: Ceremony begins at 4:00pm

    Notes: Doors open at 3:30pm. Dressy casual/semi-formal attire


    Sunday - Brunch in the Park

    Location: Saratoga State Park - Coesa Pavillion

    Time: 10:30am - 2:00pm

    Notes: All are welcome to attend. Coffee and various food will be provided. Casual attire. Parking lot immediately adjacent to the pavillion (no long walk required!), please follow the signs for "McGuinness Brunch." The Google Maps Location will also route you directly to the correct parking lot.

    Getting into the Park: When reaching the entrance toll booth, please mention "The McGuinness Wedding" and present a printed copy of the ticket linked below so we can take care of your fee for you :)

    Our Love Story

    Just as we are sharing our big day with you, we wanted to share our love story too! After all, as they say, the wedding is one day, marriage is for life. We have already made so many amazing memories together and there are so many to come. Whether you've been with us since the beginning through it all or are new to our story, please enjoy getting a special peek into our favorite highlights of the last seven years!     Saratoga Springs is a popular travel destination for the area, and as such hotels may book up fast or have high room rates. There are several surrounding towns that we also invite you to consider including: Clifton Park (25mins), Schenectady (40mins), Albany (45mins).

    RSVP Questions

    Q: Am I allowed to bring a plus one?A: Your invite will be made out to "(Your Name) & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you. Thank you for understanding!


    Travel Questions

    Q: Which airport should I fly into?A: Albany International (ALB) is the closest airport to our venue (35min). However, due to limited flights to ALB, we also recommend using any of the NYC aiports (JFK, Newark, or LaGuardia).

    Q: Will there be shuttles/transportation provided?A: We do not have any arrangements made for shuttles to/from the venue. If you are struggling with transportation to any of our events, please reach out to Chase or Patrick prior to the week of the wedding, or our designated contacts below during the wedding week.

    Q: What is the parking situation for the Welcome Dinner and Brunch in the Park?A: For the Friday Welcome Dinner, plenty of street parking is available at John & Simone's house. For Brunch, there is a large parking lot directly adjacent to our reserved pavillion (no long walks required!).


    Venue Questions

    Q: Is parking available at the venue?A: For all guests not lodging at the Inn, valet is required the day of the wedding if you want to park at the venue. This service is free to you (tips have been taken care of)!

    Q: What is the weather like that time of year?A: The weather in upstate NY in early October is very plesant! It can get cooler when the sun goes down, but average temperatures may be 62F high/ 42F low.

    Q: What parts of the wedding will be held outdoors?A: Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dance floor will be held outdoors. Dinner will be served indoors. Heating lamps will be used in outdoor areas.

    Q: What type of food will be served at the reception?A: In addition to hors d'oeuvres and salad, you will get to choose one entree from the following: 1) 8 oz NY Strip Steak: Bordelaise and Herbed Butter ; 2) Salmon: Herb Encrusted with Beurre Blanc; or 3) Vegetable Napoleon: Roasted with Tomato Coulis (Vegetarian Friendly). Please indicate your selection and any dietary restrictions in the RSVP Form.

    Q: Will there be an open bar?A: Yes! There will be several selections of beer, wine, and soda available throughout the night on us! Well liquor drinks will be available by cash bar only.

    Q: What time does the party end?A: We'd love to party with you all night long! However, our venue did ask us to set a schedule...Please expect the party to end around 9:30pm.


    General Wedding Questions

    Q: Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?A: We kindly ask that you respect our unplugged ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture all the details of the moment! Following the ceremony, you are free to take as many pictures/video as you like of the party. Don't forget to share them to our Google Photos wedding album!

    Q: Can I post photos on social media?A: We politely ask that you don’t post photos of our special day on social media. We are happy for you to take them and share them with us, but we would like to be able to choose who else to share our day with ourselves.

    Q: Where will wedding updates be posted?A: If anything changes we will do our best to pass the word, but please check back here on the website to get the most current information.


    Saratoga Springs Questions

    Q: What are some sights that you suggest to see while in Saratoga Springs?A: Downtown Saratoga Springs is a great place to walk and offers several options for shopping and dining. For those looking for more outdoors options, we highly suggest strolling Saratoga State Park or Saratoga National Historic Park. Other notable sights include the Saratoga Automobile Musuem and National Museum of Racing/Hall of Fame.

    Q: Any dining recommendations?A: Of course! If you're into coffee, we highly suggest Uncommon Grounds or Bread Basket Bakery. Looking for a good beer? Check out Druther's Brewing Company or Pint Sized. We also recommend Olde Bryan Inn or Wheatfields for lunch/dinner options.
